  • X3 and display port

Hi. I've got big problem with using mini display port. and gtx 1060. I use DP-VGA converter to connect external display. But Windows 10 dosen't send a signal to the display and Windows 10 dosen't see this display. The converter works (it is good) because other laptop with this converter and this and other display work ok. What is the problem? Where can i find solution for this issue?
    Regards,
    Artur

Try with an other converter from an other brand, maybe it will work. An apple one for exemple...

Chances are you have a passive adapter and need an active display port adapter. https://www.startech.com/faq/display..._dp_multi_mode has a nice summery of the difference.
